Verify your coffee
WHY VERIFIED COFFEE?
Stori Coffee will work with a globally recognized traceability platform, making a digital journey of the coffee supply chain, connecting farmers, producers, manufacturers, retailers, and customers, and sharing their stories.
And because of this every member of the coffee supply chain is identified, included and treated with integrity, from farmer to customer.
VERIFY THIS COFFEE
Below is an overview of each step our coffee takes. In addition we have provided vital data about the coffee collected and verified at each step to ensure quality and transparency. This is the actual data for the Limited Founders Series Hingakawa Coffee.

FROM THE FARMER
The majority of specialty coffee comes from small family farms. Most farms have no more than 500 trees, many more are only the size of a 10x10 bedroom. These farms sustain families and communities around the world.

TO THE PRODUCERS
Once the coffee is harvested, it is then transported to the producer mill (cooperative). Here, it is pulped, washed, dried and carefully sorted by hand.

TO THE MARKET
This is where the identity of the producers and farmers is usually lost. The market is a collection of producers that aggregate their coffee to get the highest price possible. Stori, maintains the identity of each producer as it is aggregated in a market place.

TO THE EXPORTER
Exporters play a critical role in the logistics of getting fresh crop coffee to our customers. The exporter role has recently been played by the producer network (cooperative) to ensure timely delivery in order to maintain the integrity of the quality, as well as the standards of logistics within landlocked countries.

TO THE IMPORTER
As importers have grown to be multinational in geographical footprint, their role is just as critical to servicing small and independent roasters with high quality small lots, but also to bridge the financing between small holder farmers, and small independent roasters. Importers plays an integral role for Stori, purely for logistical purposes within its platform.

TO THE ROASTER
The science and art of roasting is a poetic process that is put to the test every harvest season. Coffee may be grown the same year over year, but the variable of weather, inputs, and the farmers sweat equity is never the same. At Stori, we roast our coffee in sync with the farmers labor of love. Our hope is to reveal that story with you through the coffee.

COMPLETING THE CIRCLE WITH YOUR CUP
When you pour a cup of Stori Coffee, it is important that the quality goes above and beyond your experience time and time again. And when this happens, we will ensure that the seismic wave of impact ripples downstream, so that you and everyone involved is included, identified and treated with integrity.
YOU! Each cup of coffee is not the end of the journey, but the completion of the circle of connection.
