Nova Coffee specifically grows high quality Arabica Red Bourbon. Peaked at 1850 masl, and is grown in Volcanic; Loamy soil. The 155 ha coffee plantation is flanked by the native tropical rainforest in NE Rwanda.
This coffee is a natural process medium roast.
While her best kept secret may possibly be the cool nights that are supported by Lake Muhazi, it is the combination of the idyllic temperatures both day and night that make this off the tree cherry one of the best coffees in Rwanda.
While Nova grows and processes its own coffee, it is surrounded by a little over 2800 small-holder farmers that are supported by the wet mill. It is through her principles in paying farmers cost of production and a premium for quality that has given her the reputation for award winning coffee.

Nova Coffee is a processor and exporter located in Gicumbi District, Northern province, and run by Rwandan women. The Coffee Washing Station is led by Agnes Mukamushinja a motivated and inspiring entrepreneur who helped to transform the coffee industry in Rwanda.
